Резюме: Предлагат се по-прецизни изчисления за дела на „възрожденската интелигенция“, които правят разбираем характера на новата българска история. Статията обяснява защо нормалното за XIX в. митотворчество за формиране на национално самосъзнание вече е контрапродуктивно в историографията от началото на XXI в.

Abstract: More precise calculations are offered for the share of the “Revival intelligentsia”, which make the character of modern Bulgarian history understandable. The article explains why the myth-making that was normal for the formation of national self-consciousness in the nineteenth century is already counterproductive in the historiography of the early twenty-first century.
